Our Journey

From professional studies and security consulting to community transformation

Crossworld Foundation began as Crossworld Institute of Professional Studies, providing professional training and consultancy in counter-terrorism, security management and criminology.

01

Roots in security & professional training

Through this work, we engaged with security professionals, institutions and communities — gaining valuable insight into the factors contributing to insecurity, violence, vulnerability and social instability. With time, we came to recognise that lasting community safety requires more than security interventions.

02

From security to prevention

Our experience strengthened our commitment to prevention. We expanded our focus towards addressing vulnerabilities that can expose children, young people, women and communities to violence, exploitation, substance abuse, crime, radicalisation and conflict — leading to a broader community-development approach centred on prevention, protection, peace and empowerment.

03

The emergence of Crossworld Foundation

Crossworld Foundation emerged from this evolution with a wider community mandate, while retaining its foundation in security, prevention and community safety. Today our work focuses on child protection, psychosocial support, peacebuilding, climate resilience, women and youth empowerment, education and mentorship.

04

Reaching vulnerable communities

We have expanded our engagement with children, adolescents, young mothers, women, young people and vulnerable households — through child protection awareness, psychosocial support, menstrual hygiene initiatives, mentorship, peace dialogues, youth engagement, environmental conservation and community empowerment.

05

Building on our experience

Our background in counter-terrorism, security management and criminology continues to inform our work in conflict prevention, community safety, youth engagement, prevention of violence and strengthening social cohesion. We recognise that sustainable security must go hand in hand with hope, opportunity, inclusion and resilience.

06

Our journey continues

From our beginnings as a professional studies and security consultancy institution, Crossworld has evolved into a community-focused organisation working to protect vulnerable people and strengthen resilient communities.

Protecting Lives. Restoring Hope. Building Resilient Communities.

We remain dedicated to transforming vulnerability into purpose, opportunity and leadership.

Rehabilitation and Education

Crossworld Foundation rehabilitates child mothers who drop out of school due to early pregnancy. Some girls run away from dysfunctional families and have no one to take care of them and the young children as they go back to school.
